JAKARTA, CN – Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI) Daerah Pemilihan (Dapil) Malut, Sultan Hidayat Mudaffar Syah, yang juga merupakan Sultan Ternate, dijadwalkan akan melakukan Kunjungan Kerja (Kuker) ke Pulau Obi, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Halsel), dalam waktu dekat. Ini dikatakan Ketua Forum Koordinasi Daerah Percepatan Pembentukan Daerah Otonomi Baru (FORKODA PP DOB) Provinsi Maluku Utara (Malut), Sarka Eladjouw.

Kunjungan ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk dukungan penuh terhadap pemekaran Pulau Obi untuk menjadi Kabupaten baru, sekaligus untuk mendengar langsung aspirasi masyarakat di wilayah tersebut.

“Kami datang untuk menyatukan kekuatan masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah dalam satu suara. Pemekaran Kabupaten Kepulauan Obi adalah agenda bersama, dan saat ini adalah momentum terbaik untuk mempercepat prosesnya,” ujar Sarka Eladjouw dalam keterangannya, Rabu (21/5/2025).

Dalam agenda tersebut, masyarakat Pulau Obi dari 5 Kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Obi, Obi Selatan, Obi Barat, Obi Timur dan Obi Utara, diundang secara terbuka untuk hadir bersama-sama dalam pertemuan yang akan dipusatkan di Desa Laiwui, yang nantinya menjadi Ibu Kota Kabupaten Kepulauan Obi.

“Ini adalah kesempatan langka bagi masyarakat Obi untuk menyampaikan aspirasi secara langsung kepada perwakilan di pusat, khususnya kepada Anggota DPD RI dari Komite I,” ujar Sarka.

Komite I DPD RI adalah alat kelengkapan yang memiliki kewenangan langsung dalam urusan pemerintahan daerah dan pemekaran wilayah. Oleh karena itu, keterlibatan masyarakat dinilai sangat penting untuk memperkuat legitimasi dan dorongan politik dari bawah.

DOB Kabupaten Kepulauan Obi ini, dinilai telah memenuhi sejumlah indikator penting seperti luas wilayah, jumlah penduduk serta potensi ekonomi dan geografis. Pulau Obi memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah, seperti nikel, emas, dan hasil laut, serta letak strategis yang memerlukan tata kelola pemerintahan lebih dekat dan efisien.

“Kami akan terus mengawal aspirasi ini ke tingkat nasional. Keadilan pembangunan hanya bisa dicapai jika pelayanan pemerintahan mendekat ke rakyat,” tegas Ketua FORKODA Malut itu.

HALSEL, CN – Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa (DPMD) Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Halsel), Provinsi Maluku Utara (Malut), mengadakan bimbingan Teknis sistem Pengelolaan Siskeudes kepada 249 Kepala Desa (Kades) dan Kaur keuangan pada Jumat 16 Mei 2025.

Dimana, Bimtek Siskeudes adalah pelatihan penting bagi Kades dan Kaur keuangan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengelola keuangan Desa.

Sehingga itu, kegiatan ini diikuti Kades Talimau, Kecamatan Kayoa serta Kades-Kades lainnya.

Dalam pelatihan tersebut, para Kades belajar tentang cara menggunakan aplikasi Siskeudes dengan baik dan benar. Aplikasi itu sangat penting untuk membantu Desa mengelola keuangan secara transparan dan akuntabel.

Kades Talimau, Khatab Sanaky kepada media ini mengatakan bahwa dirinya sangat antusias mengikuti Bimtek tersebut. Ia berharap, ilmu yang didapat bisa diterapkan di Desa Talimau agar pembangunan Desa semakin maju.

Selain itu, Kades Talimau juga memberikan apresiasi kepada Kepala Dinas (Kadis) di  Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda), terkhusus kepada Kadis PMD Halsel yang telah sukses menyelenggarakan Bimtek. Ia menilai, terobosan yang dilakukan Kadis PMD Halsel, Muhammad Zaki Abd Wahab sangat membantu dan menekankan  meningkatkan disiplin dan kinerja para Kades di Halsel.

“Bimtek ini sangat bermanfaat bagi kami. Kami jadi lebih paham tentang pengelolaan keuangan Desa dan termotivasi untuk bekerja lebih baik lagi,” ujar Kades Talimau, Khatab Sanaky.

Selain itu, Khatab bilang, kegiatan Bimtek Siskeudes ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi pengelolaan keuangan Desa di seluruh wilayah.

HALSEL, CN – Harita Nickel bersama Pemerintah Desa (Pemdes) Kawasi dan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Halmahera Selatan (Halsel), Provinsi Maluku Utara (Malut), resmi membuka SAPA Kawasi 2025 (Semarak Pasar Rakyat Kawasi), sekaligus meresmikan kawasan perekonomian di permukiman baru Desa Kawasi, Jumat (16/5).

Acara ini menjadi tonggak penting dalam membangun pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi berbasis masyarakat di Pulau Obi.

Lebih dari sekadar pesta rakyat, SAPA Kawasi adalah hasil kolaborasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah dan industri. Selama satu bulan penuh, kegiatan ini menghadirkan lebih dari 70 pelaku usaha lokal yang mengisi stan-stan bazaar dengan beragam produk, dari kuliner tradisional, kerajinan tangan hingga kebutuhan harian.

Bupati Halsel, Hasan Ali Bassam Kasuba, yang turut hadir dalam acara tersebut menyampaikan apresiasi atas inisiatif yang dilakukan Harita Nickel. HALSEL, CN – Tim Gabungan Sat Reskrim Polres Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Halsel), Provinsi Maluku Utara (Malut), kembali melakukan penertiban Pertambangan Emas Tanpa Ijin (Peti) di Desa Kubung Kecamatan Bacan Selatan, Rabu 7 Mei 2025 sekitar pukul 11.00 WIT.

Penertiban tersebut berada di 2 (dua) lokasi yaitu lokasi Rendaman yang bertempat di gunung Kompleks Tanjung Kurango dan Lokasi Tromol di pesisir Pantai Desa Kubung.

Dalam penertiban tersebut, Tim Gabungan Sat Reskrim melakukan pemasangan garis polisi pada lubang galian material Emas, bak rendaman yang menggunakan terpal, material Emas yang berisi di dalam karung yang berada di atas gunung Kompleks tanjung gurango dan Tromol yang bertempat di pesisir Pantai Desa Kubung.

Kasat Reskrim Polres Halsel, Iptu Gian C. Jumario Laapen S. Tr. K mengatakan bahwa penertiban tersebut sesuai dengan Instruksi Kapolda Malut, dalam rangka penertiban Peti di Wilayah Malut khususnya di Wilayah Halsel – Polres Halsel.
